The project concerns the complete renovation of an existing commercial building to accommodate the head offices and wholesale exhibition for Dash&Dot brand.
On the ground floor is located the wholesale exhibition area and a small retail shop along with the main entrance. In the showroom and the retail shop, bespoke variable furniture are installed to adapt the constant changes of the showroom.
The furniture are made by laser cut steel frames and different type of shelves, boxes and hangers made by wood and steel. Also in the exhibition area, movable panels are installed to create different spaces for multiple customers. Similar folding panels are installed behind the shopfront large windows to provide easy access for maintenance. The panels are made by steel frames and vertical wooden louvers that filters the sunlight during the day creating a constantly changing atmosphere.
The materials and colors are less refined and dark, chosen to fit with the contemporary and industrial character that suits the brand.
On the first floor are located the necessary offices along with other supplementary spaces.
